This mural was made for a friend of mine. He asked me to figure out how to make the concrete wall disappear to help make his backyard feel, not just larger, but more connected to nature. I started by researching the plants in and surrounding the yard and incorporated them into the design to help blend the literal space to the represented one. I have assisted on other artists' murals in the past but this was my first done completely by my hands. Below, I have documented my process from concept to finished piece.
